ATRAVESSANDO A BOARDER

Hi,

como vocês sabem, atravessar a fronteira rumo aos EUA, para um brasileiro, é sempre mais complicado. É sempre uma tonelada de perguntas, (tentativas de) pegadinhas e por ai vai. Em cia de um slovako e um koreano, a coisa não fica lá muito diferente. O que mudou, especialmente de 2008 para cá, é que as coisas ficam ainda mais engraçadas quando você tem um inglês fluente, entende tudo, e se dá ao luxo de brincar com a situação (após, é claro).

Abaixo, as perguntas feitas a nós, com as respostas, e as respostas que desejariamos dar (Canada-EUA or EUA-Canada).

Question: "What do you guys intend to do in US?"
Answer: "Basicly tourism, visit tourist atractions..."
Desired answer: "We intend to buy some drugs on the dirty streets of Seattle"

Question: "Where do all of you guys live?"
Answer: "This gentleman behind me lives with me, we live in the same house, and this gentleman here, from Slovakia, is a guest in my house, I´m bringing both to visit US for the 1st time"
Desired answer: "This guy is a rapist from Slovakia, and we are smuggling this Korean guys here, to sell him as a slave in US"

Question: "Do you intend to buy something in US?"
Answer: "Yes, basicly souveniers"
Desired answer: "Yes, by the way, Would you know a good place to buy ecxtasy"

Question: "Are you going to stay in any address in Seattle"
Answer: No, no specifically... It´s a short stay..."
Desired answer: "Hummm... Do you guys remember the address of that strip club?"

Question: "Who are these guys travelling with you?"

Answer: "We live together in North Vancouver sharing expenses, and this gentleman is our guest"

Question: "Were you just visiting, or what?"
Answer: "Yeah, just visiting"
Desired answer: "Just fucking around"

kakaka, sério, na volta foi muito engraçado: o cara pediu pra baixar o vidro de trás pra pegar as reações do Young Je às perguntas dele. Aí, engatava uma atrás da outra, rapidamente, pra tentar pega no contrapé, e olhava rapidamente pra nós, pra ver any sign of hesitation. Tipo:
"What do work with?"
"Tourism"
"Where?"
"Capilano Suspension Bridge!"
Tipo, eu já respondia meio com voz alta, "Yes, Sir" kakaka, e no ato.
